Giovanna’s Nuveen Green Capital Story

Giovanna sought a different direction after working in the finance industry for 30 years. She previously worked for Merrill Lynch, the Union Trust Company, and primarily Citigroup, where she held multiple titles including Underwriter, Relationship Manager, and Senior Financial Analyst. Her academic career started in Italy, where she studied for two years. Giovanna then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Italian and International Studies from Iona College and pursued an MBA in International Business from Sacred Heart University.

She was drawn to the fact that Nuveen Green Capital is involved in green energy and helps to improve the community. Giovanna is excited to utilize her finance and real estate expertise at Nuveen Green Capital. When not working hard for clients, Giovanna can be found at her daughter’s activities and soccer games or relaxing at the beach or pool with her family. Giovanna is also very passionate about her work with the Alzheimer’s Association, where she is a founding member of the Women’s Champion Chapter and serves as social media chair for the Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
