Rebecca’s Nuveen Green Capital Story

Rebecca is VP of Underwriting at Nuveen Green Capital. At Nuveen Green Capital she has personally underwritten or overseen the underwriting of over 400 CPACE loan applications for over $500M.  Beyond reviewing individual credit files, Rebecca maintains Nuveen Green Capital underwriting guidelines and also dabbles on the technology side, maintaining the company’s Salesforce platform and working to increase origination efficiency internally and for borrowers.

 Prior to Nuveen Green Capital, Rebecca was part of the research team at Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group where she provided consulting services, valuations, and due diligence for dozens of Manhattan’s most prominent new developments including Riverside Center, 220 Central Park South, and the Baccarat Hotel. At CSMG she created absorption and pricing models responsible for pricing real estate totaling over $5 billion.  Before graduate school, Rebecca worked on the Operations team for NYC business improvement districts that managed Bryant Park, 34th Street, and Chelsea. 

Rebecca holds a Master in City Planning degree from MIT with a focus real estate finance, as well as a BA from the University of Michigan. Her graduate thesis, on the economic viability of micro-unit development, won awards in real estate research from MIT, the European Business School and Aareal Bank.
